Philip Alden Henry

Philip Alden Henry, 70 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.   He was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Emory and Phoebe Henry. Philip was a retired estimator in the construction industry. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing with his friends from Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Phil was a loving husband, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Virginia Lancaster.     Survivors include his loving wife and partner of 40 years, Patty Henry; brother, Mark Henry; aunt, Jewel Clark; along with a host of friends and extended family.     An entombment service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm.     Carter- Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport is serving the Henry family.
