Phillip Wayne Greer

Phillip Wayne Greer, 66, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Brookhaven Manor. He was an avid Fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vernie Greer; brother, Claude Greer; three sisters, Liz Miller, Eller Bear and Mae Greer. He is survived by his brother, Elmo Greer and wife Maxine; sisters, Julie Helton, Lena Kelone and Ann Christian; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Gilliam officiating. A burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Carol Christian, Jimmy Hilton, Johnny Hilton and James Greer. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Greer family.
