Phyllis Jean Jarrett

Phyllis Jarrett, age 68, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport. She had worked as a beautician in Gate City and Hiltons, VA, for 50+ years and enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Jarrett; and parents, George and Ida Hensley. She is survived by her sister, Pat Walton and husband, Connie; brother, Gale Hensley and wife, Lena; granddaughter, Dana Montalvo and husband, Oscar; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev.
