Ronald Vernon Kilgore

Ronald "Ronnie" Vernon Kilgore, 66, of Nickelsville went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 18, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kilgore; parents, Loy, Jr. and Faye Kilgore; and brother, Roger Kilgore. Ronnie is survived by his son, Shane Kilgore; sister, Louise Blankenbeckler and fiancé Jerry Addington; brother, Teddy Kilgore and wife Trish; sister in-law, Shelby Kilgore; step children, Jason Carico and wife Ashley, Becky Gladson and husband Josh, and Misty Begley and husband Stan; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Will Shewey officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 12pm at Harris Cemetery in Nicklesville with Rev. Will Shewey officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 11:45am. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lowell Hartsock and "Whistle" Williams. Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Kilgore Family.
