Ronald Lee Wood

Ronald Wood, age 65, of Surgoinsville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of McCloud's Missionary Baptist Church in Rogersville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wood; and parents, James and Goldie Wood. He is survived by his son, Chris Wood and wife, Mandy; grandchildren, Kayley and Kristen Wood and Regan Simmons; brothers, Mark, Larry and Jimmy Wood; 3 nieces and a nephew. There will be a military graveside service held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery with American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 performing military rites and Pastor Heath Elkins officiating.
