January 22, 1942 — October 29, 2015
Shelby Patrick, 73, of Weber City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening (October 29, 2015) at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Scott County. Shelby loved to listen to gospel music and especially loved all her kids who called her "Bones". She will always be known as a loving and caring person.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Victoria Hartsock Patrick; her sisters, Mary Ann Patrick and Kay Patrick; brother, Bobby Patrick; nephews, William (Junior) Patrick and Randy Patrick. Shelby Patrick is survived by her son, Ronnie Patrick and wife, Misty; grandchildren, Austin Patrick and Nicholas Patrick; brothers, Paul Patrick and wife, Gail, Mack Patrick, and Jerry Patrick; sisters, Sue Fraley and husband, Frank, Carolyn Kiser and husband, Kenneth; a special friend, Lois Davis along with several special nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday (November 1, 2015) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Scott County Funeral Home or friends may call anytime at her home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday (November 1, 2015) at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Kiser and Brother Tommy Meade, officiating. Music will be provided by David and Debbie Easterling.
A graveside service will follow the funeral on Sunday (November 1, 2015) at Hartsock Family Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA, with her nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Darby Patrick and Frank Fraley.
A special thank you goes out to the Roop family for the special care given to Shelby.
