Shirley Pauline Dennis

Shirley P. Dennis, age 70, of Church Hill, TN, went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. She was a loving and caring sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Courtney; father, A.J. Richards; sisters, Brenda Richards, Eula Coffey; husband, Charles Dennis; and children, Bobby Dennis and Karen Wolfe. She is survived by her brothers, Garry Richards and Lon Richards; son-in-law, Jeff Wolfe; sons, David Dennis (Sherry), Michael Dennis, Terry Dennis (Charolet) and Tim Dennis (Ashley); grandchildren, Rusty Benton, Wayne Davidson, Brandon Davidson, Katlyn Davidson, Taylor Davidson, Haley Dennis, Timmy Dennis Jr., BreAnna Dennis, Shawn Dennis, Emily Dennis and Kiley Dennis; and great-grandchildren, Caleb Benton, Cooper Benton, Cayden Davidson and Cienna Davidson. The family will receive friends at the home located at 270 California Ave. Church Hill, TN 37642 at any time. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with Rev. Glen Richards.
