Stephen Harold Cornett

Steve Harold Cornett, 51, of Church Hill was called home on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Indian Path Medical Center. He pastored several churches in his life and also traveled and sang gospel music for many years. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Robert Dean Cornett and brother, Eddie Dean Cornett. He is survived by his son, Stephen Cornett; three daughters, Stephanie Adams and husband Joe, Montana Cornett and Savannah Cornett; grandson, Ezekiel Adams; Mother, Jean Qualls and husband Mack; sisters, Carol McKeithen and husband Rob and Brenda Braswell and husband Dave and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, 4-7:00pm at Apostolic Gospel Church with services immediately following at 7:00pm with Rev. Jonathon Lovelace officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday, 11:00am, at Holston View Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Cornett officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15am to go in procession. Pallbearers will be Donnie Adams, Matt Burke, Mark Gilliam, Doug Grey, Elisha Garland, and John Cross.
