Susan Lourene Loudy

Susan Lourene Loudy, age 70 of Kingsport went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Susan was born on August 3, 1952, in Parkersburg, WV to Lee Rhoden and Gladys Boggs Ames. In January of 2002, Susan married Robert Loudy and after 21 years of marriage, he survives. Susan was a talented artist. Her artistic talents included crocheting, painting, and chalk art. She also loved listening to 1970’s rock-n-roll and traveling. Susan was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Melissa Presnell. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Robert Loudy; one son, Baby Jimmy Ames; two stepdaughters, Susan Morgan and husband Mike, and Tonia Ellsworth; two granddaughters, Amber Vannoy and husband Michael, and Taylor Ames; one grandson, Alex Strine; four great grandchildren, Kayllyn, Layla, Michael, and Niyah; and many other family and friends. There are no services planned at this time. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Loudy family.
