Tammie Marquel Shindler

Tammie Marquel Shindler, age 54 of Unicoi, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Tammie was born on October 10, 1971, in Adrian, MI to Jerry and Ann Ables. Tammie worked as a registered nurse for 15 years, and she had a heart for caring for those in need. On February 12, 20215, Tammie married Daniel Mulcahy and after 11 years of marriage, he survives.

Tammie enjoyed playing video games, especially Super Mario 3. She was also the New York Mets and Dallas Cowboys' number one fan. She loved her family and those who knew her will truly miss her.

Tammie was preceded in death by her father; daughter, Hollie Shindler; and her uncle, Fred Cooper. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Mulcahy; son, Skylar Ables; brother, Eric Ables; her best friend, Bill Daggett; and many other loving family members and friends.

There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date to honor Tammie's life.
