Issac Zachary Griffin

Issac Zachary Griffin, 18, of Duffield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was a graduate of Gate City High School where he ran track and cross country. Issac was known for his work ethic and his caring heart. He was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry and Joann Stanley.

Survivors include his parents, Danny and Donna Miles; sisters, Kayla Marie Hensley and Amanda Johnson; brothers, Isiah Griffin, Zeke Griffin, Danny Ray Miles Jr., and Nick Hall; nephews, Hunter Blake Hensley, Oliver Truman Hensley, and Peyton Dawson; niece, Lexi Hensley; uncle, Darrell Stanley; special friend, Mason; along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Dustin Lane officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Hall’s Cemetery in Stanleytown. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 am to go in procession.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses.
