Jason Drew Dawson
Jan 26, 2005 — Sep 12, 2022
Jason Drew Dawson, 17, of Annapolis, MD and Blackwater, VA lost his battle with depression on Monday, September 12, 2022.
Jason was kind, caring, and selfless young man. He was always looking out for everyone else. He had a bright future ahead of him. He was a math whiz scoring a 790/800 on his SAT. He was to graduate a semester early. Still trying to decide if he wanted to persue a career in cooking, coding or math. All of which he loved. He was an avid gamer thinking about creating his own. His love of animals was like no other. Always participating in a charity event or making a donation. He loved most spending time with his brothers and sisters. He tried not to miss an opportunity to be silly and make a memory with them. Everyone he came across in life he impacted in a loving and powerful way. He will always be cherished and loved.
He is survived by his mother, Kim Nickols (Bob Nickols); brothers, Jesse and Jake Nickols; his father, Brad Dawson (Stacy Dawson); sisters, Aubrey and Alexis. Leaving also many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Podickory Point in Annapolis, MD from 12-5. A service will be held at a later date in Blackwater, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SPCA International by visiting their website www.spcai.org
