Pearl Egan, 78, of Duffield, VA, entered into rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Pearl was born in Scott County, VA on October 4, 1944, a daughter of the late William Balaam Falin and Clora Vadus Falin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Clay Falin, Bobby Falin and Ronnie Falin; brother-in-law, Clell Williams; sister-in-law, Carol Falin.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Roy Edgar Egan, Duffield, VA; son, Roy Edgar Egan, Jr and wife Amber, Duffield, VA; grandchild, Hannah Grace Egan, Duffield, VA; brother, Franklin Falin, Kingsport, TN; sisters, Rosa Lee Williams, Pauline Hammonds and husband Claude, all of Duffield, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Hoot-Sloan Cemetery, 922 Sloantown Rd, Duffield, VA with Bro. A.J. Lane and Pastor Jackie Frazier officiating. Music will be provided by Benny Falin.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at 12:50 pm at the cemetery for the service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
