Randy Wayne Bowen

Randy Wayne Bowen, 59, of Duffield, VA entered into rest on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1962 in Duffield, VA. Randy served in the U.S. Navy during the Gulf War (Desert Shield/ Desert Storm). Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Henry and Eva Mae Bowen, who raised him; his father, Hubert Gibson; his mother, Ida Ann Bowen Wade. Surviving are his daughter, Aurora Bowen; sisters, Lisa Wade Babb, Tony Lynn Malone and husband Ricky; brother, Roger Allen Wade; niece, Samantha Malone; nephews, Douglas Babb and Logan Babb; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Military graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Bowen Family Cemetery, Cliff Mountain Way, Duffield, VA with honors being provided by American Legion Hammond Post #3/#265. Everyone planning to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 AM Wednesday for the military honors. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is serving the Bowen family.
