Ryland Clinton Bellamy Sr.
Dec 26, 1951 — Feb 26, 2026
Ryland Clinton Bellamy Sr., 74, of Church Hill, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kingsport, TN and lived most of his life in Church Hill. He retired from Mead Paper/Domtar after 33 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and making leather crafts for the purpose of giving to others as gifts. He was a faithful charter member of Calvary Lighthouse Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. One of his greatest enjoyments of life was having his family and friends at his home to visit. Words cannot describe the love that he had for people. He was a true example of the love of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Carolyn Bellamy; sister, Betsy Smith; sister-in-law, Jessie Bellamy; grandson, Elisha Clinton Bellamy; nephew, Danny Bellamy.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years who was the love of his life; Judy Bellamy; son, Clint Bellamy (Lesley); daughter, Joy Smith (Cody); granddaughters, Keely Cradic (Tanner), Cheyenne, Siriah, Kendall, Payton Bellamy, Rylee, Charlie Smith; great grandchildren, Maddux and Maevyn Cradic; brother, Dennis Bellamy; sisters, Drama Hunter (Doug), Amy Thacker (Doug); brothers-in-law, Rodney Smith, Gary Bellamy (Carol); and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Calvary Lighthouse Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Randall Stapleton and Ben Bellamy officiating.
A graveside service will follow in the Bellamy Family Cemetery with his nephews serving as pallbearers.
