Armenia K. "Arme" "Aunt Mena" McLaughlin, of Pewaukee, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 91. She was born on November 4, 1925, the daughter of Pasquali and Cermela Fargo. Arme knew the importance of physical appearances, and every day, she would put herself together. She was an avid reader, a great cook, and enjoyed watching classic movies and listening to Italian music. Most of all, Arme loved spending time with her family.
Arme is deeply missed by her children, Denise (Pat Williams) Delaney, Manon (Ellen) Daugherty, Pat (Jerry) Schneider, and Suzanne Shaffer; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great, great grandchildren; and sister, Minnie Swenson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in May 2003; and step-daughter, Joann Onfrey.
The visitation for Arme will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 684415 Chicago, IL 60695.
