Betty Jane Mosher

Betty J. Mosher, 86, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025. She was born on February 21, 1939, in Direct, Texas, to Walter A. Smith and Maretta L. (née Scott) Smith. Betty moved to Oklahoma City in 1951 where she would eventually meet the love of her life, Gary Mosher. The two relocated to Waukesha in 1960 and were married on March 4, 1961. Together they built a beautiful life, raising their two children, Terry and Jeff.

Betty worked in assembly at Cooper until her retirement. In her free time, she was an avid reader and a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, always cheering on her favorite team.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Terry (Rick) Sasse and Jeff (Jodi) Mosher; her grandchildren, Kristin (Joe) Weber, Katelyn Sasse, Kim Sasse, Kayla Mosher, and Laural (Dakota) Harlib; and her great-grandchildren, Caleb Webster, Cole Brazeau, and Sonnie Harlib.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Mosher; her parents, Walter and Maretta Smith; and her siblings, Corine Whitten, Mavis Everett, Ruth Coultes, Ruby Smith, and John Smith.

A Funeral Service will be held at Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ (413 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186) on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM, with the service to follow at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place immediately afterward at Prairie Home Cemetery.
