Carl F. Blend Jr

Carl Blend of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on January 1, 2017 at the age of 99 years. He was born in Milwaukee, the son of Carl and Frances Blend. Carl was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II. He was able to take part in the Honor Flight in November of 2015. Carl was a man of many talents; photography, choir director, playing the piano, shooting pool, gardening and acting with the Waukesha Civic Theater. Carl will be missed by his children, Susan (George) Weber, Richard (Frances) Blend, Christine (fiancé Brian) Blend and Barbara (Terry) Reblin. He is further survived by 8 grandchildren, sister Florence Antisdel, special friend Charlotte Riffler, other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie, son Thomas, brothers Clarence (Theresa) Blend and William (Pearl) Blend. A visitation for Carl will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, (Main building, Chapel of the flowers), 13235 W. Capital Dr. Brookfield, WI 53008, with Military Honors and burial to follow.
