In Loving Memory of Carol Raasch

With love for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Carol Raasch, a devoted mother, cherished Grammy, and beloved friend whose greatest joy was her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Raasch, with whom she shared a beautiful love story. Their marriage was built on devotion, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Together, they enjoyed country music, creating countless memories and a home filled with love.

One of her greatest blessings and proudest accomplishments was becoming the adoptive mother of her three children. She loved them deeply and dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them.

Her favorite title was “Grammy.” Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and, later, her great-grandchildren. The love she shared with them will remain one of her greatest legacies.

She had a remarkable gift in the kitchen. Whether preparing home-cooked meals or baking family favorites, she lovingly brought people together around the table. Her treasured recipes and the memories created over those meals will continue to be shared for generations.

She also had a lifelong love for dogs. Throughout the years, seven faithful companions became part of her family. They were far more than pets—they were her forever friends, bringing her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

Those who knew her will remember her quick wit and unique sense of humor. She left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Gail Olen (Bob), children, David (Terry) Raasch, Paul (Angela Zilli-Raasch) Raasch, and Catherine (Scott) Johnson; her cherished grandchildren, Madeline, McKenna, Jackson, Alexa, Addison, Alaya, Sabrina, Ashley and Hope; her treasured great-grandchildren, Cassius, Liam, Phoenix and Jasper; along with extended family and many dear friends.

Though she will be deeply missed, her love lives on in the family she cherished, the recipes she passed down, the country songs that bring back precious memories, and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial services are held at Cesarz, Charapata and Zinnecker funeral home on September 17, 2026.The visitation begins at 10:00am and goes until the start of service at 12:00am.
