Carol Mae Ziarniak

Carol Mae Ziarniak (nee Conrad) passed away peacefully at Mike and Kathy’s home in Palmyra on Sunday, June 21 with Mike at her side at the age of 93. Carol was born in Waukesha on January 4, 1933, the daughter of Willard and Anna Mae. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome and their son, Bob, her sisters Marilyn and Joyce, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gerry (Larry), Joyce (Gordy & Art), Barbara (Pete) and Marcia, Ralph and Wiley, daughter-in-law Barb and granddaughter Steph.
Carol is survived by her children, John (Elise), Mike (Kathy), Sue (Chuck) and daughter in law Kim, grandchildren Kirsten (Brian), Hannah (Kate), Richard, Gabriel, Liv, Delaney, Alyssa (Derrick), Katy (Nick), Kara (Perry), Evan, Tabitha (Andrew), Brian, Joey, Megan (Sean), Chad, Krystal (Suhail), Katelyn (Casey). Carol was a beloved great grandma to Brenna, Gracie, Ava, Dominic, Braydon, Kendall, Brianna, Kailey, Bodhi, Ellie and Landon. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Pat, brothers-in-law, David and Don. She leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews and friends.Carol retired from Blue Cross at age 55 but remained friends with so many co-workers and was still, until recently, getting together for “Blue Cross luncheons,” which she cherished. She also leaves behind many dear friends from her church.She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, so much so, that she had a heart attack during the famous Packers vs. Eagles (4th and 26th) playoff loss.The Funeral for Carol will be held at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home (237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Following the service, a procession will travel to Highland Memorial Park (14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151), where burial will take place. A luncheon will follow the burial.
