Dale R. Sonnemann

of Waukesha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 08, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born in Milwaukee, WI January 7, 1935, the son of Gerhardt and Hilda (nee Hahn) Sonnemann. Dale married Theresa Mueller on October 13, 1956 to that union seven children were born. Throughout their marriage Dale and Theresa also fostered 67 children. They fostered children until the week before Theresa died in September of 1991. On November 7, 1992 Dale married Marilyn a mother of two and their families became one. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marilyn; children, Christine (Craig) Brath of Mosinee, Keith (Kathy) Sonnemann of Colgate, Tim (Patty) Sonnemann of Waukesha, Kevin (Debra) Sonnemann of Sussex, Jeff (Beth) Sonnemann of Menomonee Falls, Joe (Nadine) Sonnemann of Germantown, Toni (Gary) Johnson of Altoona, David Hokenstad of Milwaukee, Susan Hokenstad of Pewaukee; Twenty grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa; sister Lorraine; brother's Gehardt Jr., Howard, and Arthur. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
