Dorothy A. Munz

Dorothy A. Munz of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2014 with her loving family by her side at Season's Hospice. She was born on Dec. 22, 1923, in Hartford, WI, the daughter of William and Rolinda Schwarz. She graduated from Mukwonago High School and attended the Business Institute in Milwaukee; Dorothy married George Munz on March 15, 1947 in Mukwonago, WI. She worked at Waukesha Motor Company as a secretary for 11 years and part time for four years when she left to become a stay at home mom. In December of 1970 she went back to work as a phototypesetter for Delzer Lithograph until she retired in 1984. Dorothy loved her family and having fun, dice games, board games, "Tri-Ominos" and playing cards with her wonderful friends. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her daughters, Nancy (Thomas) Sanicola and Merry (Walter) Kandzora; grandchildren, Kari (Brandon) Wilson, SPC. Ian Kandzora, Gianna, Thomas and Johnathan Sanicola; great-granddaughter, Maddison Wilson; sister, Gloria Zeise. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George on Dec. 19, 1983; brothers, William and Harvey (Mardell) Schwarz; brother-in-law, Donald Zeise and her four legged friends Butchie and Sheena. The visitation for Dorothy will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Prayer service on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N.
