Of Waukesha died peacefully at her home with her loving husband at her side on Wednesday, March29, 2017 at the age of 84 years. She was born in Cicero, IL, the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth (nee Lalis) Seckar. Elizabeth married the love of her life, David A. Schramke on November 8, 1952. She was a longtime member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and a multi-talented Artist. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her husband, David of 65 years; her children, Jeanne (Mike) Churdimsky, Elizabeth (Reuben) Stark , Dan (Laura) Schramke, Jim (Julie) Schramke, , and Veronica (Peter) Higgins); twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, John (Marilyn) Seckar, Tom Seckar and Sr. Marie Louise Seckar O.P.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; son, Louis; siblings, Louis Seckar, George Seckar and Ann Cervenke; also her beloved dog, Scruffy.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 p.m. Memorial Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W. State Hwy 59, Waukesha, WI 53189. Burial will be private at a later date.
