Emma Hetzel Keske

Emma Hetzel Keske a lifelong resident of Waukesha passed away on January 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Emma was born on September 26, 1920 in Waukesha the daughter of Bernard and Emma Kreidler (nee Tymnick). She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, the Christian mothers, the VFW Auxiliary, the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles Auxiliary, lifetime member of the Women of the Moose and the Women's International Bowling Congress and a volunteer for many organizations and causes. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Hetzel; her second husband, Gene Keske; daughters, Sandra Crawford and Judith Martin; sons in law, Larry Martin and Mike Kaiser; sister, Lorraine Harmon Martin; brothers and their wives, Larry Kreidler (Evelyn) and Fritz Kreidler (charlotte); brothers in law, Glenn Harmon and George Hetzel; sisters in law, Hilly Keske and Florence Hetzel. Survived by her children, Connie Dischler-Butolph (Duane) of Plainfield, WI, Robert (Andrea) Hetzel of Ingleside, IL, Claudia Hetzel Kaiser of Show Low, AZ, Steven (Lynn) Hetzel of West Yarmouth, MA, Theresa Hetzel Cotton (Ulrich Falatyk); son in law, Johnny Crawford SR.; her sisters, Marion Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Bernadine Poppie of Hartford, WI , and Kitty (Jim) Gilane of Hartford, WI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends especially dear friends, John Miller, Cassie Williamson and Brian Lee. A special thank you to her grandchildren and great grandchildren that called her, visited with her, ran her errands and helped take care of her through the years. No words can adequately express the love their grandmother had for all of her grandbabies. Thank you to everyone that called her, visited with her, ran her errands and helped take care of her through the years. She appreciated those visits, calls and help. Emma helped whenever she was needed from the time she was a young girl. She was never too busy no matter if they were family, friends or strangers. After retiring from the county home she became a nanny grandma to the Deremers, Hammes, Griesens and other families. She also worked at the Christmas Clearing House, solicited funds for the first Schuetze building, was a den mother and helped many organizations throughout the years.
