Fern Winslow

Fern Elenor Winslow passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024, at the age of 102. She was born on August 30, 1921, in Eagle, Nebraska, to parents William and Mary Wall (nee Allen). 

Fern Was an amazing seamstress and 4H Leader, and had her own sewing business for over 40 years. She was an excellent baker, gardener, and overall talented homemaker. She loved her family and valued it as her greatest accomplishment in life. Fern was a member of the Genesee Congregational Church for many years and also a member of the Saylesville Sunshine Club. She loved to travel and had a zest for experiencing new places. She is surely enjoying her new home in heaven with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Fern will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Diane, daughter-in-law Susan, and grandchildren: Kellin, Kyle, Angie, Neil, Hannah (Andrew), and Olivia. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren: Addison and Grace, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband James, sons Mark and Stanley, her parents William and Mary, two brothers and one sister.

The visitation for Fern will be held on Wednesday June 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of services at 12:30 p.m., at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. Memorials are appreciated to Angels Grace Hospice in honor of Fern’s memory.

Fern will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
