Frederick R Nettesheim
Sep 14, 1938 — Jul 2, 2026
Frederick Raymond Nettesheim passed away on July 2nd, 2026, just two months shy of his 88th birthday.
Fred was born on September 14th, 1938. Known to his family and friends as Butch, Pops, or Freddy, he grew up in Sussex, Wisconsin, and spent more than 60 years living in the city of Waukesha, a place he loved. Following his graduation from Waukesha High School in 1956, Fred proudly served in the Army, frequently sharing stories of his friendships, missions, teamwork and camaraderie he experienced. He was later employed by the Waukesha School System for many years in custodial, maintenance, and delivery roles, where he was loved by his colleagues for his commitment and sense of humor.
In his younger days, Fred was athletic and enjoyed jogging, playing football with his sons, and covering second base on his church’s softball team. He also had a passion for automobiles, particularly muscle cars. A devout Catholic, he practiced his faith with conviction. He has passed into heaven, reunited with his father William, mother Mary, and brothers Ron, Phil, and Dan.
Fred is survived by his sons, Michael and Patrick; his sister, Margaret; his brother, Reginald; his former wife, Joan Marie Clark; and his granddaughters, Moriah and Vanessa. He lived a good life that positively influenced many and will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Fred will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until the start of services at 11:30 a.m.
