Frederick B Reich
Oct 3, 1933 — Jun 23, 2026
Frederick B. Reich, of Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, at the age of 92.
He was born on October 3, 1933, in Wisconsin, to Fred and Fern Reich. Fred was a graduate of Pewaukee High School and, following graduation, began a career in tool and die manufacturing. Through hard work and dedication, he built a successful career and became partner of Ehlert, MFG.
He served his country in United States Army in the Koren war. He was first united in marriage to Joyce in 1956 and was blessed with two children, Roger Reich and Lori (nee Reich) Hayes. His second marriage was to Verna in 1983. Fred enjoyed spending time on the golf course and being a snowbird in Naples, Florida. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply enjoying other's company, he was always charming and known to never say a negative word about anyone.
Those who knew him will fondly remember his easygoing nature, life stories and one of his favorite sayings, “So goes the way of the buffalo,” a phrase that reflected his acceptance of life’s journey and the wisdom with which he approached it.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Roger Reich and Lori (Jim) Hayes. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Fern Reich; his brother Lynn (Anne) Reich and his beloved second wife, Verna Reich.
