Jane A. Resheske

Of Waukesha went to be reunited with her husband Neil on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the age of 95 years. She was born in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Charles and Emma (nee Young) Allen. Jane graduated in 1944, from the University of Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in education. She married the love of her life, Neil Resheske on September 21, 1947. Jane taught in Milwaukee for three years and in Fond du Lac for three years, until moving to Waukesha; where she was a Teacher until retirement in 1998. Jane was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Waukesha Retired Teachers, The Practical Club of Waukesha, Service organization of Waukesha, and an Eastern Star life member. Jane enjoyed sewing, reading and knitting. Jane will be sadly missed by her son, Judge David (Cathy) Resheske of Florida; foster daughter, Shirley Thiede; grandchildren, Steven (Kim) Gonzales, Mark (Angela) Gonzales, Cynthia (David) Neelis and Terri (David) Halvorson; great-grandchildren, Shaylyn, Travis, Matthew, Ella, Taylor, Nicole, Marki, Victoria, Shelby, Bailey, Ashley and Madison; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan, Hayden, Lincoln, Gracie and Adelelyn Mae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil and brother, Howard Allen. A visitation for Jane will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Rod Resheske will be officiating. A private burial will take place at Saint Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jane's name to the Avalon Square Benevolent Fund, 222 Park Place, Waukesha, WI, 53186 would be appreciated.
