Jeffrey Thorson

Jeffrey L. Thorson, a longtime resident of Waukesha County, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on October 18, 1957, to his loving parents, Russell and Ila Thorson (née Brown).

Jeff had a brilliant mind and a love for all things intellectual. He was an avid chess player, a dedicated geocacher, and a trivia enthusiast who could recall facts on nearly any topic. His passion for computers kept him engaged and always eager to learn something new. Beyond his many interests, Jeff’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He never missed a gathering, always showing up with warmth, laughter, and a kind heart.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his siblings, Judith Bullock, Gerald (KC) Thorson, Roger (Ginny) Thorson, and Joyce (Dennis) Beauchene. He was a cherished uncle to Cheryl, Erica (Ben), Rachel, Nic, Andrea (James), Nicole (Greg), and Justin, and a beloved great-uncle to Austin, Alex, James, Finn, Logan, and Rose. He also leaves behind dear friends who will forever treasure his presence in their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Ila Thorson.

Per Jeff’s wishes, services will be held privately.

Though he is no longer with us, Jeff’s love, laughter, and wisdom will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to inspire and bring warmth to all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
