Marsha B Wilke
Sep 7, 1944 — Aug 28, 2026
Marsha B. Wilke (nee Krueger), of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away on August 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on September 7, 1944, to William and Margaret Krueger. Marsha graduated from Tomahawk High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. It was through teaching that she found one of the many ways she could make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Marsha married the love of her life, Roger Wilke, and together they built a beautiful life and raised their two sons, Andrew and Aaron. She was a devoted and loving mother who treasured her family and found great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow. Faith was a cornerstone of Marsha’s life. She was a deeply faithful and devoted member of her church community and found great comfort and purpose in her relationship with God. Marsha taught at Trinity Lutheran School in Waukesha for more than 20 years, where she touched the lives of countless children through her dedication, patience, and love. She was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran and faithfully served her church in many ways.
Those who knew Marsha will remember her as a beautiful person, both inside and out. She possessed a gentle and caring spirit and had a genuine love for people. She gave freely of herself, always willing to help, teach, encourage, and offer kindness to those around her. Her faith, warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family were evident in the way she lived her life. She leaves behind not only cherished memories, but also the lasting impact she made on the many lives she touched throughout her years.
Marsha is survived by her loving sons, Andrew Wilke and Aaron (Sarah) Wilke; her beloved grandchildren, Hayden and Christian; and further survived by extended family and dear friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Krueger; her loving husband, Roger; and her siblings.
A visitation will be held at Living Word Church, 3140 Saylesville Road, Waukesha, WI 53189, on September 9, 2026, beginning at 11:00a.m. and continuing until the start of the service at 12:30 p.m. Entombment at Prairie Home Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marsha’s memory may be made to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (H.A.W.S.). Marsha’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service. Though she will be deeply missed, her family and all who were blessed to know her can find comfort in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the faith she held so dearly.
