Maureen Wegner

Maureen P. Wegner passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in England to Gordon and Julia Halford (nee Jones), Maureen brought joy to those around her with her love of beading, cross-stitching, puzzles, and Western movies. She also adored British television programs and never missed an episode of Dancing with the Stars. Maureen cherished time with her family, her beloved fur granddog Carl (who she nicknamed "Trouble"), her Monday beading group girls, and her neighbors who became friends.She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Rod (Lanie) Wegner, Juliann (Brian) Martinelli, Jodi Tegeler, Sharon, Kathy, and Debbie; her grandchildren, Amy (Ryan Snell) Wegner and Kasey (Justin) Cozort; great grandchildren Aria and Ash; family in England; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Maureen was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents, and other loved ones.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
