Robert F. Stockfisch

Robert “Bob” F. Stockfisch passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 18, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Fred and Florence (née Liesenfelder) Stockfisch, Bob lived a life devoted to faith, family, and the things he loved most.

Bob was a proud graduate of Pius High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. A true sports enthusiast, he followed football, basketball, and baseball with great passion, never missing an opportunity to cheer for his favorite teams. He especially enjoyed high school athletics and the excitement of March Madness, meticulously filling out his bracket each year. Music was another of Bob’s great joys, and he took pride in his collection of classic albums.

A devout Catholic, Bob’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished time spent with his family and found immense joy in their gatherings. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Carol Stockfisch; his son, Stephen (Gina) Stockfisch; and his stepdaughters, Lisa (Todd) Buchholtz and Cindy (Roger) Jussila. He was a proud grandfather to Brett and Bailey Stockfisch and step-grandfather to Nicole (Brian) Fabus, Matt (Christina) Buchholtz, Nathan Jussila, Mitchell (Emily) Jussila, Amber Jussila, and Brandon (Carlea) Jussila.He is further survived by his great-grandchildren: Brielle and Wyatt Fabus, Henry and Maggie Jussila, Avery and Finley Jussila, and Hadley and Hudson Buchholtz, his brother, Thomas (Angelica) Stockfisch; sister-in-law, Sandra Smith; and niece, Cybele. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Florance Stockfisch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at St. William Catholic Church (440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 12:00 PM.

Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and love of a good meal—always punctuated by his favorite saying: “Good dinner hun.”
