Jun 5, 1932 — Aug 27, 2026

Roland “Rollie” W. Goldammer, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 5, 1932, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to Roland J. and Betty Goldammer.

After graduating from high school, Rollie married the love of his life, Janet (nee Glumm) Goldammer. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Lynn, Scott, Lisa, and Guy. Rollie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose family meant everything to him.

Rollie was the proud owner of R.W. Goldammer Co., Inc., where he dedicated many years of his life to his work and the business he built. He was also an active member of the Waukesha Rotary, giving his time and friendship to his community. He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.

Outside of work and family, Rollie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time on the golf course, fishing, bowling, and especially vacationing at Lake Namekagon. These activities brought him many wonderful memories and opportunities to spend time with the people he loved.

Rollie is survived by his children, Lynn (Ed) Dabel, Scott (Linda) Goldammer, Lisa (Tim) Lawler, and Guy (Judi) Goldammer; his grandchildren, Jeni (Ken) Dixon, Steve Witkowski, Liz (Chris) Studzinski, Lucas (Tui) Lyon, Lyndsay (Karl) Carlson, Scott (Jill) Goldammer, Kelly Lawler, Garrett (Brook) Lawler, Morgan (Ben) Hansen, and Shaylin (Colin) Stocking; and his great-grandchildren, Ryleigh (Davin) Schlak, Jaxson Dixon, Scarlett Witkowski, Sloan Witkowski, Kaylee Studzinski, Payton Studzinski, Patrick Goldammer, Danny Goldammer, Hannah Carlson, and Paige Carlson. He is further survived by his sister, Nancy Stechschulte, along with extended family and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland J. and Betty Goldammer; his loving wife, Janet; and his brother, Robert Goldammer.

Rollie will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his work and community, his friendships, and the many memories he created throughout his life. His presence, laughter, kindness, and steady love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come.

A private family service will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Rollie’s name to a charity of your choosing.
