Suzanne Armour
October 27, 1938 — June 3, 2026
Suzanne "Sue" (née Dietz) Armour passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 87.
Sue was born on October 27, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Robert and Doris Dietz. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School. In 1970, she married the love of her life, Phillip Armour, beginning a marriage filled with love, devotion, and family. Together they raised three children: Cynthia, Trent, and Jennifer.
Sue's family was the center of her world. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow and creating lasting memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Professionally, Sue worked for many years as a secretary with State Farm Insurance Company, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
In her free time, Sue enjoyed watching tennis, playing cards, listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother who always put the happiness of others before her own. Her kindness, generosity, and selfless nature touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Sue is lovingly survived by her children, Cynthia Rose (Paul) Hoenecke, Trent Phillip (Sarah) Armour, and Jennifer Sue (Matt) Jakubowski; her grandchildren, Jack Armour, Maddie Armour, Lizzie Armour, Joseph Swanson, and Jacob Hoenecke; her great-grandchildren, Jaxon Swanson and Alexis Swanson; her sister, Joan Marie Dietz; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Armour, and her parents, Robert and Doris Dietz.
Sue often shared one of her favorite sayings: "Balls," cried the Queen, "if I had two, I'd be King." Her family will always remember her sense of humor and the smile she brought to those around her.
The family kindly requests that memorials and donations in Suzanne's memory be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
Sue's love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
