Thomas J. Burzynski

Of North Prairie, WI died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at the age of 59 years. He was born September 25, in Milwaukee, the son of Thomas R. and Gloria F. Burzynski. Tom married the love of his life, Elisabeth "Libby" Thompson on April 30, 1983. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1985 with an Engineering Degree. Tom was a grill master, cigar and whiskey connoisseur, golfer; avid sports fan; always cheering on the Packers and Brewers, member of the Bee Ski Patrol and ready to tell a corny joke. Most of all Tom was extremely family orientated, always ready to help his kids, sisters, friends and even strangers; Tom was a hero the day he died; stopping for a pedestrian. Tom will be sadly missed by his wife, Libby of 34 years; children, Alan Burzynski, Melissa (Alex) Stickler, Kristin Burzynski, Rebecca Burzynski and Thomas Burzynski II; granddaughter, Madisyn; sisters, Jill (Terry) DeVillers and Jackie (Cory) McCorkle. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Elisabeth Asmus, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 noon Memorial Service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial will take place privately at a later date.
