Charles Joseph Kaiser Jr., of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Demotte, Indiana for more than 30 years, passed away unexpectedly on May 18th, 2026, at the age of 68.
Born on December 14th, 1957, in Blue Island, Illinois, Charlie was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart and dedication to his family and friends. He spent 30 years working as a machinist at Whiting Corporation in Illinois, where he earned the respect of coworkers through his skill, reliability, and quiet determination.
Charlie found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a gifted woodworker, enthusiastic gardener and passionate food lover who found deep peace working with his hands. His daily life was defined by the companionship of his cherished dogs, who brought him endless happiness. Whether building something with his hands or tending to his garden, he took pride in caring for the things and people he loved.
Charlie is survived by his loving spouse, Jennifer Kaiser, his brothers, Thomas Sliga and wife Victoria, Phillip Kaiser and wife Kimberly, and Kurt Kaiser, his sister Kathy Ray and spouse Curtis. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews; Lauren, Phillip, Courtney, Robert, Cara, Michael, Jordan, Christina, Caroline, Christopher, Rachel, Teresa, Tyler, Jordan, Mekenna, Kaiser, Addison, Lotus, Hazel and Elliot, and two lifelong friends Ken Zdzinicki, and Scott Kramer. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Charlie is preceded in death by his father Charles Joseph Kaiser Sr., mother Mary Frances Kaiser, and brothers Michael Kaiser and Robert Sliga Jr.
