Dale Lynn Rist of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home. Dale Lynn Rist of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Dale was born, 1948, in Passaic, New Jersey to Fred and Genevieve. Dale moved to Hollywood, Florida where she graduated from South Broward High School. On June 19, 1966, she married the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Rist. To this union, two sons were born, Donald and Scott.

Dale worked various positions throughout her career including owning her own retail business before spending 20 years at Alpine Truss Company where she excelled in accounting positions. Dale joined Tom at Shoreline Air Systems where they each retired.

In her spare time, Dale was an avid diver and fisherwoman. Always by his side, Dale and Tom enjoyed going on Cruises and vacationing around the world.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Thomas of Punta Gorda; sons Donald (Thi) Rist of Pompano Beach, Florida and Scott (Andrea) Rist of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren Madeline and Miles; sister Janice (Craig) Smith and brother Kenneth (Kenny) Clarke of Fort Pierce, Florida and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
