Delbert Oneil Tyson

Obituary Delbert O. Tyson, born on December 30, 1951, in Nevis,

departed this life on August 10, 2026. He was a cherished

husband to Jannes Hamilton Tyson and a devoted father to

Darren and Darnell Tyson. Delbert's legacy continues through

his beloved grandchildren: Elijah, Makayla, Mia, Kasim (KJ),

Elias, Mateo, and Amina Tyson.

Son of Ivan and Sylvia Tyson. He joined the United States Coast Guard,

Where he dedicated himself to serving his country with honor and

distinction. He is fondly remembered by his siblings, Wendel Tyson,

Aubrey Tyson, Sheila Wilson, Myrla Griffith, Irma Tyson and Mario Tyson.

Delbert had a passion for the sea, spending countless hours

spear fishing and boating. He was also known for his thoughtful
