Gordon Willis Davidson Jr.

In loving memory of Gordon Davidson who passed away at home in Punta Gorda on July 3, 2026 at the age of 82. Gordon was born in Queens, NY, and spent his early years in NY and NJ before moving to Dennis, MA where he spent the majority of his teenage years. He then moved to NH, raised a family and eventually met Betty, the love of his life. They lived in Exeter and Ossipee, NH before moving to Punta Gorda in 2017.

Gordon worked for Milliken Textiles for many years. He then worked for Dyetex where he dyed yarn for the NY apparel industry. His last endeavor was with General Electric Aerospace.

Cruising Ossipee Lake, Vacationing in Aruba, Traveling out West, and enjoying his close group of friends and family were what made him happiest.

Gordon had three children, Patricia Booker (Rod), Wendy Almstrom (Mark), Thomas Davidson. His grandchildren Samantha Elkin, Thomas Davidson, Jr., Will Davidson, Katie Davidson, Spencer Almstrom, Aiden Almstrom, Liam Almstrom. Great grandchildren Owen, Paislee, Skylar, Kendra, Karrah, Autumn. Sandy Lusona, his sister-in-law and nephew Jake Lusona (Megan).

A Celebration of Life will be held August 15, 2026 at 11:00 am at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda, FL
