Joseph Cyr

Joseph Cyr, 88, of North Fort Myers passed away Friday August 21, 2026. He was born October 21st, 1937 in New York, New York to the late Maurice and Lorraine Courcy-Cyr. He spent his formative years in Taunton, MA where he graduated from Taunton catholic High School in 1945 and retired to North Fort Myers fourteen years ago.

Joe was a supervisor for Verizon where he worked for 37 years. He was also a manager for Ocean Spray in Middleboro, MA. Joe enjoyed living in Florida taking the opportunity to play golf, scuba dive and play Bocci.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Janice, daughter, Linda Cyr, three sons, John, Michael and Steven Cyr as well as numerous grandchildren.
