Alberta Conway Cummins

Alberta C Cummins “Bertie”, aged 81, passed away September 1, 2026 after battling cancer for almost a decade. She went peacefully at her home where she wanted to be with family by her side. She was born June 23, 1945, in Frankfort, Kentucky, daughter of the late Albert Burton Conway and Cordelia Tracy Conway.

Bertie was a long-time employee of General Electric/Frankfort Plastics. She loved the Smokey Mountains, she was a passionate foodie, she loved spending time watching her favorite Television Series and other movies. She loved spending time with her son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her life was centered around hard work and her family.

She is survived by her son, Sean Cummins (Cheryl) of Frankfort, her two grandsons Brandon Cummins (Alexis) and Ryan Cummins; her great-granddaughter Elizabeth Cummins. Sister-in-law Barbara Conway, her lifelong friend Kathy Woodside, her close cousins Pam Penn and Susan Ronca and many other family members. In addition, Grandson Mark Padgett, Nicholas Padgett (Kassidy), Destiny Marshall, great granddaughter AnnaLiliya Ethington and great grandson Jacob Ethington.

She was preceded in death by her brother Ben D Conway.
