Allen Lee Parris
Nov 28, 1956 — Sep 26, 2026
Allan Lee Parris, 69, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. A native of Frankfort, he was born on November 28, 1956, to the late Edward and Betty Dunn Parris.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and beloved "Uncle Allan" to his nieces and nephews, whose lives he touched with his generosity, laughter, and love.
Allan was a proud graduate of Franklin County High School. Following graduation, he built a successful career as a Construction Project Management Supervisor with Columbia Gas of Kentucky, where he worked for 30 years before retiring. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Above all, Allan cherished the time he spent with his family. He faithfully attended his children's countless sporting events and dance recitals, and he especially treasured many adventures with his grandchildren. He was a member of Capital City Christian Church who enjoyed traveling, sharing stories, and rarely missed a Cincinnati Bengals or Kentucky Wildcats game. He often ended the day relaxing with reruns of The Andy Griffith Show and Leave It to Beaver.
Those who knew Allan will remember his hard work ethic, sense of humor, generosity, and compassion. He touched countless lives through his unwavering love for those around him, and his legacy will continue through the family and friends who were blessed to know him.
Allan is survived by his son, Jordan Parris of Frankfort; his daughter, Brittany (George) Padilla of Versailles; his beloved grandchildren, Jack and Emerson Padilla; his sister’s, Ellen (Paul) Kirkman of Bonita Springs, FL and Deborah (Domingo) Delgado of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Parris, and his mother, Betty Dunn Parris.
The family finds comfort in the many memories shared with him and the lasting impact he made on everyone, fortunate enough to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, the love, laughter, and guidance he shared will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever.
Private services will be held for family and close friends. The family appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
