Jo Ann Sharfe, 66, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born in Raleigh, NC on September 30, 1959 to Carolyn Nurnberger Underwood and the late Wade Underwood. Jo Ann was a preschool teacher. She loves animals, especially dogs and horses; and she loves to crotchet.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Melinda Jones and Laura Sharfe; her brother, John F. Underwood (Reta); and her 7 grandchildren, Shawn Jones, Calen Jones, Julia Jones, Zoey Long, Tai Long, Sage Long, and Nephysis Long.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
