Lottie Lee Robinson

Jan 26, 1931 — Oct 9, 2026

Lottie Lee Robinson, age 95, of Louisville, KY went home peacefully into the presence of God on October 9, 2026 at Nortons Hospital leaving behind a life rich with love, grace, and cherished memories. She was a light in the lives of many – a gentle presence whose kindness, strength, and faith will continue to echo in every heart she touched.

Lottie was born on January 26, 1931, in Louisville, KY, she entered this world as a blessing to the late J.D. Harris and Mamie Harris and moved through life with a generous heart and a spirit rooted in love, grace, and trust in the Lord Jesus. In addition to her parents, Lottie was proceeded in death by her husband of 16 years, Frank Robinson and her son, Jonathan Robinson. As well as, her siblings King James, Mildred, Freddie, Arneida, Raymond, and Russell Harris. Her family was her treasure, and in the loud quiet beauty of shared meals, familiar stories, and everyday moments, she reflected a faith-filled legacy that will never fade.

For over 50 years, Lottie served in her church as a minister of music, Sunday school teacher, a congregational choir director, an artist and very animated storyteller. Not to mention her extreme detailed on current events and the word of God. Her love lived in the little things - the laughter around the table, the wisdom shared in simple words, the comfort of her presence, and the steady way she gave of herself cleaning greens at the kitchen sink. Though her footsteps are no longer hears, we take comfort in knowing she is now sweeping through that city, and the path she walked remains bright, guiding those who loved her with the memory of her grace.

Mama, (As she was affectionately called), lives on through her children, Terry, April, Patricia, Toni, Michelle, and Lena; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her well and will carry her story, her spirit, and her love into the generations to come. May they find comfort in the promise of God's peace and in the many memories that remain.

Though she will be deeply missed, her love remains - like a song beautifully carried forward, like a light that does not dim, like a blessing that continues to bloom. Until that heavenly reunion, her family and friends will hold close the inheritance of salvation, prayer, gratitude, and love. With the closing of this reading, we want to leave you with some of Mama's favorite words: Oh, my stars, oh for heaven sakes, Charity begins at home and lastly Go with God.
