Michael Ray Miles Sr.

Michael Ray Miles Sr., 65, husband of Shelia Miles, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026. He was born in Henry County on November 23, 1960 to the late Leonard and Elizabeth Thomas Miles. Michael was the kitchen manager with the Capital Plaza and a line cook with Stewart Home School. He loved cooking, fishing, and was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church. Michael was a social butterfly and never knew a stranger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Brittney Renee Miles and Tamika McDonald (La'Tray); his sons, Anthony Newborn and Michael Miles Jr.; his sisters, Shirley Penney (Arty), Phyllis Miles, Crystal Miles, and Lynn Miles; his brothers, Wayne Miles (Vivian), Tim Miles (Teresa), and Marvin Miles; and his grandchildren, Tayshaun Miles, Aysiah Newborne, and Jaylen Carter.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Jerome Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Simion Blackford, Anthony Newborne, Lionel McGrath, Ryan McGrath, Tayshaun Miles, and Michael Miles Jr. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
