Omer Fletcher Wise

Omer Fletcher Wise, 71, husband of Sharon Baker Wise for 46 years, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. He was born in Estill County on May 30, 1955 to the late Wilgus and Mary Hall Wise. Omer loved watching the Cowboys play football and never missed a family get together. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Omer worked in construction.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Shane Wise (Brittany) and Timothy Wise; and his 5 grandchildren, Clayton, Kensie, Bella, Aiden, and Waylon. He has one surviving brother, Raymond Wise.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Monday, September 28, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Forrest Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
