Richard Allen Becker

Richard Allen Becker, 73, widower of Delma Begley Becker, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was born in Paint Township, Pennsylvania on January 24, 1953 to the late Herman Eugene and Ida Rafferty Becker. Richard was a Veteran with the US Army, having served in Vietnam, and a Member of the American Legion. He was a jack of all trades. He loved playing pool, darts, and hunting for gold. He also owned a bar and a store called “Some Assembly Required”. Richard was a manager with Auto Zone, and he loved wire wrapping.

He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Sherrick (Jason); his stepsons, Terry Ewen (Leesa), Kelly Ewen (Terri), and Barry Ewen (Lucy); his sister, Peggy Rybarczyk (Mike); 9 grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Ricky Ewen; and his sisters, Alice Hagan and Janet Becker.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Cameron Skinner, Richard Becker, Jason Sherrick, Gary Ewen, RJ Moody, and Barry Ewen. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion.
