Richard Mathew Shryock

Richard Mathew Shryock, 85, husband of Ronnie Shryock, passed away on July 4th, 2026, in Versailles, Kentucky. Richard was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on April 5th, 1941, to the late Robert Price and Gertrude Mitchell Shryock. He worked for many years at Rand McNally in Versailles, Kentucky, is a veteran of the United States Air Force, was an honorable member of the American Legion Post 67, where he was elected and served as Post Commander several times.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Richard A. (Debbie) Shryock, Johnny (Fran) Shryock, Mike (Jayvie) Shryock, his step-children, Melissa Parker Vaughn and Frank Parker Jr., his sisters and brothers, his 10 grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Routt, Steve Brumback, Johnny Stivers, Tommy Vanderpool, Nathan Parker, and Mark Cupp. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
