Stephen Wayne Jones

Stephen Wayne Jones, 47, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. He was born in Woodford County on June 11, 1979 to Stephen Wayne Jones and the late Robin Campbell Jones. Stephen worked for the Franklin County Road Department. He loved hunting, fishing, and taking long walks.

In addition to his father, Stephen is survived by his stepmother, Esmeralda Jones; his children, Brianna Robinson (Wyatt), Stephen Jones, and Robin Jones (Matthew); his brothers, Matthew Jones (Christina) and Julian Jones; and his grandchildren, Elijah Goodpastor, Aubrey McClease, Rhaylon Robinson, Averly Bast, and another one on the way.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Renee Jones.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
