Steven G. (Grant) Sims, 33, of Lawrenceburg, KY came into this world on March 6th 1993 to Steven C. and Regina G. Sims of whom he was reunited with his beloved mother in heaven and is survived by his loving father.
Steven, who was known for being a wizard of wisdom, went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his mother (Regina) on July 6, 2026.
Steven was apart of the ACHS graduating class of 2011 where he played football (#73) all four years of high school and Steven was also known for his intellectual intelligence as a member of the Governors Scholarship Program, BETA Club and he was the salutatorian of his 2011 graduating class. Steven continued his education from 2011-2015 at Centre College where he also played football (#93) all 4 years, while attending Centre, and he obtained his business degree with a 4.0 GPA.
Steven then followed his dream of being a financial advisor for Fidelity Retirement Investments in Cincinnati, OH. Steven had been with Fidelity for over ten years and was known for how much he loved the world of wall street, and his intelligence level was absolutely top tier as he never stopped growing and learning.
Steven is survived by his father, Steve Sims; sister, Stephanie R. Sims; two nephews, Connor D. Skaggs and Renly Ginger-Sims; both of his grandmothers, maternal grannie, Mary B. Shreve and paternal grandma, Linda Packard. He has one aunt, Aretha Leslie Smith; and his uncles, John T. Sims (Jacqueline D.) and David R. Wilder.
Steven also leaves behind many loving cousins, great aunts and great uncles and so many friends whom loved and cherished memories with Steven that are forever unforgettable.
Steven Grant Sims was truly one of a kind and had many unique bonds with so many people. To know Steven was to feel like you knew Einstin and every single task he started he completed.
Steven loved football, going golfing, playing paintball, and being around his friends. Steven leaves behind a legacy that is truly legendary and unforgettable. One thing for certain is that Steven was bound to say something to make you laugh and smile from ear to ear.
Services for Steven Grant Sims are being held at Clark Legacy Center on July 14, 2026 with visitation from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Services are being held at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Kirkwood Baptist Church in Salvisa, KY.
Honorary pallbearers will be Connor D. Skaggs, Renly C. Ginger-Sims, Malachi T. Bradley, and David Wilder.
